Making a difference one gymnast at a time

The Board of Directors and the volunteers at Rhythmic Gymnasts Support Foundation are working to raise money to provide on-going assistance and support to as many young rhythmic gymnasts as possible. Donations will help pay the competition registration fees, some travel expenses, or to purchase equipment that the gymnasts use on a daily basis. As our non-profit organization grows, we will be able to provide scholarships or other forms of support to individual gymnasts. Please, check our website regularly and follow us on social media (FB, LinkedIn, Instagram, TicToc) for press releases and information about how you can submit an application for assistance. Once we have enough funds, our Board of Directors will establish application guidelines and will be reviewing the applications on a quarterly basis.

Below are the stories of two promising young rhythmic gymnasts whose families have been afflicted by hardships and whom Rhythmic Gymnasts Support Foundation is hoping to support this competition season. Katya trains at the Houston Rhythmic Gymnastics (HRG) - an elite club in West Houston.

Katherine S.

Katy, TX

Katya’s dream is to go to the olympics. Her path toward this dream has not always been easy. When Katya started gymnastics, her mom was finishing up chemotherapy for her cancer. For the last 4 years, Katherine had to deal with the emotions, stress, and uncertainty of her mom’s medical condition. Despite all of the challenges in her personal life, Katya maintains all A’s at school and she had won 2 Texas state championships in a row.
